The Combo concept is the result of a development project in co-operation with global food and beverage companies who handle large volumes of liquid products.
The concept is based on large foldable containers with flexible liner bags. The liner bag is placed inside the Combo and filled with the liquid. This results in a packaging system which;
* dramatically reduces the packaging costs compared to traditional alternatives;
* simplifies handling throughout the logistics process;
* provides hygienic, safe transportation and storage of liquid products;
* is returnable, reusable and totally recyclable.

« IBC » means « Intermediate Bulk Container ». An IBC is therefore a mobile, flexible and rapid storage device for any powder or granulates. The DOSICON IBC developped by JetSolutions SA offers following features:
- Dosing of the discharge of the IBC, for example when a batch is made of various powders stored in IBCs
- Weighing of the discharged quantity of an IBC, either by loss in weight or by gain in weight
- Easy extraction of the powder stored in DOSICON IBC, even compacted
- Guarantee of a proof closing of the IBC cone valve
- Cleaning of the inside of the IBC with a CIP system
Working Principle:
- The cone valve is placed and guided in the conical bottom of the container
- Total proof closing by means of an elastic gasket, inflatable on option
- Total proof closing by pulling down the cone valve into its seat after discharge of the product
- Opening of the cone valve by means of a pneumatic cylinder jack
- Adjustable opening by setting the stroke of the jack (basic version)
- Full range adjustable opening by means of a pneumatic motor adjusting the stroke of the jack (dosing version)
- Dosing of the discharged product by adjustment of the opening of the cone valve versus the weight on scale, through an interface terminal IT 9000
- Vibration of the cone in open position

PH-BIN
The PH-Bin is an IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) designed to handle and blend powders and granulates. The equipment is manufactured in compliance with the most restrictive GMP requirements and can be interfaced with the loading and unloading systems of the Vima Pharma Handling Systems.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
- Bin frame completely built in AISI 304 stainless steel and internal parts built in AISI 316 stainless steel, mirror polished.
- The rectangular cross section, combined with the inclination of the upper part and the hopper, ensure perfect mixing efficiency.
- The large bending radius without dead points, together with the round cross section of frame and legs, avoid water stagnation facilitating cleaning operations.
T-Bins are also available to handle capsules and tablets. They have a cylindrical shape and the loading lid decentralized on the upper part to simplify product loading from a tablet press or a capsule filler.

BULK LOADING
Mobile bulk loading system
HAVER bulk loading machines for loading cargo vehicles are equipped with our high-performance weighing systems. With this combination you'll get a a high-speed time-saving system that's built completely by HAVER. The integrated high speed weigher weighs during the filling process, and thus eliminates subsequent time-consuming weighing steps.
The advantages of the HAVER bulk loading system:
Only one operator is needed for starting up the system
Lifting or lowering the telescoping tube and re-start of filling is done by the vehicle driver
Exact vehicle stopping under the telescoping tube via video monitoring
Short filling times
High weight accuracy - thus no re-filling after check-weighing of trucks is necessary
Overfilling of trucks is thus avoided

IBC Mixers
Mixing in Intermediary Bulk Containers (IBCs) can be a challenging task. With the restricted opening and problematic vessel geometry it is difficult to find a mixer which can operate efficiently in these containers. Conventional agitators can provide adequate in-tank movement at low viscosities, but they are generally less effective and can be difficult to clean.
The Silverson Ultramix is designed to provide solutions to challenges such as this. The small diameter dynamic mixing head provides vigorous in-tank mixing, even at higher viscosities, eliminating dead areas in square vessels. This also reduces power requirements and simplifies cleaning – the Ultramix is designed for CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) and complies with 3A, USDA and cGMP requirements.
To further enhance the capabilities of the Ultramix in this application Silverson has designed a mixing station for use with IBCs. The unit incorporates a number of safety features and is available as either a mobile model which can be moved between vessels, or a floor/wall mounted station for operation in a designated area. Various levels of automation are available from safety interlocked manual operation to fully automated systems.
