Watertight. The secret for being watertight is a neoprene o-ring that fits the case with the lid, maintaining the case totally dry and hermetic. Also, the automatic pressure equalization cock releases the air from the interior (when the atmospheric pressure changes: flights, high-altitudes, etc.) while keeping water molecules out. With these two features the case is completely watertight, dustproof and corrosion proof.
