Miniature Solid State LED NDIR Carbon dioxide sensor
An innovative High Speed, Real Time, Low Cost, Precision gas sensor using Al-In-Sb (Aluminium Indium Antimonde) NDIR LED technology. The base Mid IR solid state technology, developed by QinetiQ and licensed on a sole basis has been incorporated into an advanced CO2 sensor that is suitable for high volume manufacture and is targeted at a number of Carbon Dioxide Sensor applications.
The LED Carbon Dioxide sensor is a fast, low power NDIR sensor.
The sensor is easy to use. The standard model provides a TTL level serial output, with a temperature compensated linearised reading.
With 4 readings per second, and a T90 time <5s, the sensor is fast and can be used to measure rapid changes in gas concentrations.
Leading edge LED technology allows the sensor to run at low power – less than 100mW running at full speed.
No signal processing is required – just plug it in, power it up and read the data. (Other output options are available on request). |

The Alphasense patented carbon dioxide sensor is a world first in CO2 monitoring:
Requires no power
Operates at room temperature
One sensor measures from 500ppm to 95% CO2
Small size
Low cost
Simple interfacing
Using the potentiometric measuring principle with our patented silver halide solid state electrolyte, this sensor does not have the high power requirement or high price tag of NDIR technology. This sensor is ideal where low cost and low power are critical for CO2 measurement.
This sensor is the result of seven years of research and development, and this work continues. While not as accurate as NDIR, and not suitable for IAQ measurements, this sensor is ideal for safety alarms, combustion gas monitoring and high CO2 process monitoring.

NDIR Carbon Dioxide - Infared Sensors
Alphasense contemporary designed miniature CO2 infra-red sensors are self-contained, plug in sensors with integrated optics contained within standard sized miniature (20.0 mm) gas transducer housings. There are no moving parts within the sensors. An internal temperature sensor manufacturer is included to enable the temperature to be monitored at the detectors, thereby providing the best means of compensating for temperature effects, including ideal gas law corrections.

Novel infrared measuring system for CO2
With an ir sensor (IR sensor) specifically for carbon dioxide.
The infrared measuring system detects the carbon dioxide content of the ambient air fast and precisely. It contains a novel infrared measuring system functioning basically like a conventional two-beam photometer.
However, since material and construction of the sample cell are novel, and the measured signals are evaluated and processed according to a new digital algorithm, the infrared measuring system is light-weight, compact, in normal applications maintenance-free and long-term stable but nevertheless affordable.
The infrared measuring system detects the absolute carbon dioxide content of the ambient air (partial pressure), industrial monitors itself constantly and signals malfunctions of its hard and professional software. The whole measuring range is linear. |

Series 200AHC Aromatic Hydrocarbon Professional analyzer
Specific detection of benzene within beverage-grade carbon dioxide.
Trace aromatic impurity monitoring is of critical importance to carbon dioxide manufacturers and the carbonated beverage industry. The Series 200 AHC meets all ISBT Method 12.0 criteria for selective measurement of benzene in carbon dioxide. Continuous stream or batch sampling operations are readily performed.
The Series 200 AHC is specifically designed as a rugged, low cost, low maintenance, simple to operate, turn-key system. No professional cylinder support gases are needed. Calibration and sample introduction are totally automated. A newly designed photo-ionization detector (PID) and proprietary technology are used for the specific measurement of benzene without interference from other potential impurities in beverage-grade carbon dioxide. Detector response is linear over three orders of magnitude. The detectable limit for benzene is 3 ppb, which is far below the ISBT guideline limit of 20 ppb. GOW-MAC’s Series 200 AHC system is also capable of PC-based control and data logging. Full documentation is provided, along with optional customer training and support services.

Centralized monitoring and traceability of the temperatures
New LABGUARD 2 version 3.7 with alarms in real time and function back up!
AES CHEMUNEX presents version 3.7 of system LABGUARD 2. Already adopted by many laboratories in France and abroad, LABGUARD 2 is an acquisition machine and of monitoring of the temperatures (and other parameters like: relative humidity, differential pressure, CO2, O2, contacts dry...). The transmission of the data in real time by radio of the emitters towards the receiver and the computer avoids any wiring and allows a very simple and fast installation as well as a very great flexibility.
The software, conforms CFR21 leaves 11, presents a total traceability: the data base is made safe and the software delivered with file of validation (service IQ, OQ available). The new version of the software integrates the function "back up": the data are recorded in each module and can thus be recovered in the event of stop or of computer breakdown. The data security is maximum. The emitters can be supplied with industrial battery cell and/or sector.
The software is conceived in a modular way, various optional modules make it possible to meet the needs for each user (mapping, reference of alarms, localization of the apparatuses at fault, remote consultation, interfacing software quality...)
