Lytron's industrial cooling systems can be tailored to your precise requirements with a range of standard options, or completely custom designed for OEM volumes. Its cooling systems are used in a variety of applications including medical and industrial industrial lasers, analytical instruments, oncology machines, manufacturers of electron microscopes, industrial printing equipment, plasma etch systems, and solder reflow professional ovens.
Lytron offers three types of cooling systems - compressor-based chillers, liquid-to-liquid cooling systems, and ambient cooling systems, detailed below:
Recirculating Chillers (Kodiak)
Cooling capacities up to 6 kW
Kodiak compressor-based recirculating chillers are an ideal solution when you need a cooling system with precise temperature control (±0.1°C) or cooling below ambient temperature. Applications include medical equipment, medical and industrial lasers, electron manufacturer of microscopes, analytical instrumentation, semiconductor processing, and printing equipment.
Liquid-to-Liquid Cooling Systems (LCS)
Cooling capacities up to 20 kW
Liquid-to-Liquid cooling systems offer precise temperature control of process water and transfer the waste heat to facility water. They are ideal for high heat load applications where precise temperature control (±0.5°C) is needed and chilled facility water is available. Applications include medical equipment, industrial unit tools, printing equipment, and professional cabinet cooling.
Ambient Cooling Systems (Modular Cooling System%u2014MCS)
Cooling capacities up to 3.5 kW
Modular Cooling Systems are non-refrigerated cooling systems. They are a cost-effective alternative to recirculating chillers for applications where precise temperature control and cooling below ambient temperature are not required. Applications include analytical equipment, cabinet cooling, medical equipment, and laser systems.

Features / Benefits
Stainless steel plate & frame heat exchanger operate on low plant water flow and allow for cleaning of all heat transfer surfaces for high efficiency and long life.
Stainless steel professional tank with easy access for inspection. Tank is constructed of heavy gauge material to resist abuse and corrosion. Also has three 1.5 FPT return ports.
Bronze or stainless steel pumping with mechanical seal rings and a stainless steel shaft to insure long term reliability.
Electric motor is totally enclosed, fan-cooled, NEMA design B ball-bearing type for safe and long lasting operation.
Modulating temperature controller valve utilizes plant water to cool system water only when system water exceeds a pre-set temperature 95° F (water temperature warmer than ambient eliminates the possibility of condensate forming inside electric enclosures).
Dial professional thermometer on tank shows water temperature for quick trouble shooting.
Self-contained disconnect/motor starter/push button control allows the WRS to interconnect easily with the induction system without special controls being added.
Screw-in filler professional cap keeps dirt and debris out of system water.
Suction shut-off cock for easy pump replacement.

IntelliFlow IV is an integral water saver with flow monitoring and manufacturer of leak detection capabilities for use in Automotive Robotic Brazing applications.
The IntelliFlow detects flow TO and FROM the industrial robot cell. The unit also has a second monitoring process so that external redundant flow sensors suppliers
can be eliminated and a water temperature sensor manufacturer. IntelliFlow has been a successful product which is easy to use while providing the benefits of a
product which can reliably detect ‘cap off’ and low flow conditions on automotive welding robots. A single IntelliFlow has been able to successfully monitor as many as 20 soldering guns and has been well received by customers. These detection have a redundant circuit that can monitor the actual water flow even when IntelliFlow is in bypass. During normal operation the supply and return flow rates should be the same and the FLOW OK message should be displayed. A micro processor constantly compares the supply and return flow rates and reports a fault if these flow rates are not equal (or within the user programmed tolerance). Additionally, the user can program a low flow rate value to create a fault when insufficient water flow is detected. A precision sensor professional monitors water temperature and professional displays it in real time. A fault signal will be sent if water temperature becomes over your desired threshold. IntelliFlow is DeviceNet capable as an option. |
