These high accuracy professional scales are trusted for their absolute precision and long-lasting reliability. Widely used by hospitals, laboratories, universities and heath service organizations, they represent the "standard" for clinical applications. Scales are constructed of chrome-plated steel with a 13-inch glass covered double dial. Full capacity is reached in three pointer revolutions. Runners are indexed for each revolution. A zero adjust features allows zeroing of up to 10% capacity. Scales come standard with a machined stainless steel pinion and phosphor bronze rack combination for low friction performance even at elevated temperatures. Twin brass dashpots eliminate pointer oscillation. The large, easy-to-read dials features a knife edge pointer.

| Hysteresis Professional brake Dynamometers (HD series) are versatile and ideal for testing in the low to middle power range (max. 14 kW intermittent duty). Hysteresis brakes do not require speed to create torque, and therefore can provide a full motor ramp from free-run to locked rotor. Brake cooling is provided by convection (no external source) or by air (pneumatics or dedicated professional blower) depending on the model. Hysteresis Dynamometers have both continuous and intermittent power ratings where the dynamometer is capable of dissipating more power for shorter periods of time. All Hysteresis Dynamometers have accuracy ratings of ±0.25% to ±0.5% full professional scale, depending on size and system configuration. Also available are special designs for high-speed motor testing. |

Chatillon® DFE Series
The Chatillon® DFE Series is a compact, easy-to-use force gauge designed for economy applications without compromising functionality. Ideal for handheld or test stand applications, the DFE is available with capacities from 2 lbf (1 kgf, 10 N) to 500 lbf (250 kgf, 2500 N). The DFE features an integral loadcell with a measurement accuracy of better than 0.25% full scale. A large, easy-to-read, high resolution dot matrix LCD display supports a variety of standard gauge functions including normal and peak readings, high/low limits, setpoints, pass/fail results, statistical results, loadcell actuation and direction. Loads are displayed in ozf, gf, lbf, kgf and N units. The display can be inverted and displayed results may be "hidden" from the operator. The DFE gauge may be specified with or without RS232 serial communication. All DFE Series force gauges come with a carrying case, battery adapter/charger, testing accessories and NIST Certificate of Calibration with data. Uncertainty data per ISO/IEC 17025 is supplied standard.
