The universal acceptance of the Catch-All® Filter-Drier is due to its unique molded porous core, consisting of a blend of highly effective desiccants. The quality features built into it assure years of service on any refrigeration system.
MOISTURE – The Catch-All Filter-Drier removes moisture from the refrigerant by adsorbing and retaining it deep within the desiccant granules. The blend of desiccants used in the Catch-All Filter- Drier are specially formulated for exceptional water removal.
FOREIGN MATTER – The Catch-All Filter-Drier will filter out scale, solder particles, carbon, sludge, dirt or any other foreign matter with negligible pressure drop. Fine particles that would go through an ordinary strainer are removed down to a minimum size in one pass filtration. The large filtering area of the Catch-All Filter- Drier core permits it to collect a large amount of dirt without plug up.
ACID – The Catch-All Filter-Drier is unexcelled in acid removal ability. The hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, and various organic acids are adsorbed and held by the desiccant in a manner similar to the adsorption of moisture. Tests have demonstrated that the Catch-All Filter-Drier has superior acid removal ability when compared to competitive driers. This ability, along with its excellent ability to clean up the oil, is responsible for the excellent field performance
in cleaning up severely contaminated systems.

Liquid line and suction line filter-driers are often referred to as System Protectors because they remove harmful elements from the circulating refrigerant before serious damage results.
Keeping the system clean and free of foreign contaminants that can restrict the operation of valves, block capillary tubes or damage compressors is the best way to assure trouble-free operation. These contaminants can be solids, such as metal filings, flux, dust and dirt. Other equally menacing contaminants are solubles, such as acid, water, resins and wax.
No matter how many precautions are taken during assembly and installation or servicing of a system, contaminants can find a way into the system. Filter-driers are designed to protect a system during operation. It is the function of this all-important unit to remove those residual elements that can attack and eventually destroy the system components.

CNG Series
Single Tower Natural Gas Dryers
CNG Series adsorbers are single tower dryers designed to remove water vapor from Compressed Natural Gas in small to medium gas flow rates. Located at the inlet of the booster compressor, our unique binderless molecular sieve insures dry, pipeline quality gas (-80°F dew point or better) with minimal odorant fading.
Mobile, stationary and contracted regeneration packages available.
Single tower adsorption towers are an economical alternative to twin tower drying systems in CNG vehicular fueling stations which see intermittent or small gas flow rates (up to 300 scfm).
Down-flow design minimizes fluidization of the adsorbent insuring maximum life.
Optional Moisture Monitor & Alarm package for early performance degradation alert.

7000 Series ORIAD®
Internally Heated Desiccant Air Dryers
7000 Series ORIAD® Dryers incorporate our down-flow drying process and state-of-the-art design features unequaled in industry. Using approximately 2% process gas for purge, the ORIAD is the most energy efficient dryer on the market. The key to the ORIAD's energy efficiency is the unique arrangement of evenly spaced heaters within the desiccant bed that ensure complete, uniform heating. Designed for continuous or intermittent service, the ORIAD is also utilized in specialty gas drying such as carbon dioxide in breweries, nitrogen for chemical padding, and hydrogen drying.
* Energy costs are typically 80% less than heatless units and 70% to 80% less than other internal heat reactivated dryers
* Continuous pressure dew points -40°F to -100°F
* Quality components selected to ensure dependability and low life cycle costs
* Low purge requirements make the ORIAD the ideal dryer for installations where compressed air/gas is not expendable for regeneration
Designed from the ground up to serve as an Oil Refinery Instrument Air Dryer, performance and dependability are the benchmarks of the ORIAD design.

Kemp Dri-Breathers can be installed on a storage tank vent connection to prevent moisture from entering the tank. Kemp Dri-Breathers prevent moisture from contaminating stored hygroscopic liquids such as hydraulic fluid or gasoline. When fitting with a check valve manifold, Dri-Breathers can also prevent water from accumulating in a storage tanks and interacting with corrosive liquids like sulfuric acid. Moisture removal is a key component in reducing expensive tank corrosion that could lead to eventual tank failure.
Standard Dri-Breathers sizes are available ranging between 3.8GPM to 115GPM (1lb to 26lb water) holding capacity.
All Kemp Dri-Breathers are equipped with a moisture indicator. The color of the moisture indicator changes to show when the desiccant has become saturated with moisture. When this occurs, the desiccant can be replaced or easily reactivated using a Kemp Dri-Breather Reactivator.
