iCM4011 is a dsPIC embedded communication module that makes it possible to quickly and effectively develop applications requiring calculation capacities of up to 30MIPS.
Its architecture is based on a next-generation DSP and incorporates transceivers for the most common communication protocols (RS485, RS232, USB and CAN) to allow interaction with the largest possible number of peripherals.
The board can also be USB powered, giving the module full plug&play functionality.
The processor comes preprogrammed in the factory with bootloader firmware that allows the user to load programs through a RS232 or USB port in a few seconds, without the need for an external programmer or additional software.
It also incorporates an ICSP connector for debugging applications.

The Z32Embedded DOS is the base components for realizing a Z32 CNC system. It is installed in the electrical cabinet, and it come sin two versions:
- Embedded DOS.
DOS Operative syetem.
Simply connecting a standard qwerty keyboard and a SVGA monitor to Z32 Embedded it is possibile to use the simple, but complete, DOS interfaces.
If it is connected (through Ethernet cable) with an external console PC, the strongest point of the Z32Embedded DOS is the complete and definitive separation between the real time controller (axes and PLC) and the supervisor connected with an Ethernet cable.
- Embedded WRT
Windows Real Time Operative System
The Embedded WRT has the same features of the Embedded DOS, but the Windows operative system permits to use evolute human-machine-interfaces without needing an extern console PC.

D.Electron has developed a full software suite ("Z32 for Windows") for installing, servicing and using the Z32 CNC's.
It is however possibile for the machine manufacturer to develop its own interface.
