A manual stacker is used in a warehouse environment to transport and manipulate pallets to and from storage rackings. The raising of the forks and the movement of the stacker is manually operated. Using the forks to retrieve the pallets the rear wheels are controlled by the tiller arm to give direction to the stacker. Designed for its compact size the manual stacker is the least expensive in its domain.
Manual stackers are used to lift and transport pallets in a warehouse to and from storage racks. They are limited in the reach height and the maximum load that they can manipulate.
The frontal forks, situated at the front of the stacker attached to the mast, are raised by a hand and/or foot pump. Once the pallet is rasied from the ground the stacker is manually controlled by a tiller arm, which can be attached to the rear wheels for direction.
The support legs (upon which the front wheels are located) can be either at a normal spacing or straddle position to facilitate the stacking of the pallets.
The application required (height and weight of load) and the budget available are factors to be taken into account when choosing a manual stacker.
