The automatic welding machine FORPLAST-P is the powerful device for welding truck tarpaulins, tents and awning materials. It produces optionally 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm or 45 mm wide overlap welds and may also be supplied as or converted into an automatic tape-welding machine at customer request.
The heat output of up to 4000 W 230 V AC can be electronically adjusted to temperatures between 20 and 700 °C for an individual adjustment to different materials.
The welding machine starts automatically after the weld head has been swivelled in.
An additional cold stage permits the fan to cool down once work is completed, without having to adjust the previously selected temperature.
In addition, the infinitely variable speed adjustment from 0 to 19 m/minute makes for an optimum welding result. Furthermore, the automatic welding machine’s three-point support ensures a reliable pressure on the tarpaulin.
Welding performance:
Tarpaulin materials: 6 to 8 m/min.
Belt webbing: 3 to 4 m/min.
Thread-reinforced plastic sheeting: 10 to 12 m/min.
Accessories:
The hem welding kit for the FORPLAST-P automatic welding machines allows the simple and easy production of hems in the tarpaulin and advertising banner industry.
The kit can be used for both 20mm and 30mm hems and can be simply attached to the FORPLAST-P automatic welding machine. Customers who already have a FORPLAST-P model can upgrade their machine without any problem.

Ultraseal® ST-40HS Plastic Tube Sealers
The ST-40HS is an advanced ultrasonic tube sealing system that uses ultrasonic energy to scrub through stringers and contaminants to produce a hermetic seal on most tube materials, including laminates.
A variety of seal patterns are available with date coding easily accomplished at the time of closure.
Some of the major benefits of our ST-40HS are:
Simple installation: The ST-40's compact design is easily installed on all types of filling machines.
Reducing rejects improves productivity: The ultrasonic sealing process seals through product contamination and cuts rejects to less than 1%.
Superior cosmetic appearance: The ultrasonic process eliminates flash and 'ears' often associated with other methods.
Fast: Depending on tube size and material, the ST-40HS operates at rates of up to 80 tubes per minute.
Quick changeover: Versatile tooling requires no changes from tube style to tube style.
Quick start-up: The ultrasonic process requires no warm up time and allows immediate start-up at the beginning of a shift.
Low operating costs: The ultrasonic process is energy efficient. It only uses power when sealing, and does not have to maintain tool temperature.
