The secret of our success at Tsubaki is the use of sophisticated computerized production techniques and a dedication to detail. Tsubaki RS Roller Chain bushings are specially produced for perfect concentricity and cylindrical accuracy. Tsubaki carburizes the pin surfaces using an advanced heat treating process. The link plates and rollers are shot- peened, and the surface areas between pins and bushings and between bushings and rollers are pre-lubricated. We then pre-load our roller chains continuously and accurately on multi-sprockets after assembly. The result is a great improvement in performance. We can confidently say that in terms of wear-life, durability, and maintenance cost Tsubaki RS Roller Chain clearly outperforms the competition.

Teleflex Morse coated helical cables and our competitor’s flocked cables were exposed to 240
hours of salt spray testing per ASTM B117. The results showed some red rust at the ends of the
Teleflex Morse cables and very small traces where the gear tooth broke through the plastic coating
after cycle testing. The flocked cables showed severe red rust throughout its length

Stock Pilot Bore Sprockets
An extensive range of stock pilot bored sprockets to suit British Standard simplex, duplex, and triplex chains from 8mm to 2" pitch, and American Standard simplex chains from 1/4" to 1" pitch, with tooth sizes from 8 to 150 teeth including most even tooth sizes. Sprockets to 40 teeth are manufactured in medium carbon steel, which can be provided with either chemical black or plain finish, and for simplex in 304 stainless steel. Larger sprockets are produced in high grade cast iron.
Double Simplex Sprockets
For powered roller conveyor, a range of B.S. Double Simplex sprocket from 12 to 25 teeth for 3/8" to 1" chain are available pilot bored or with taper bore.
Taper Bore Sprockets and Bushes
Available from stock are taper bore steel sprockets in most tooth sizes up to 30 teeth, and above in cast iron up to 114 teeth, for British Standard simplex, duplex, and triplex chains from 3/8" to 1" pitch. Also, a complete range of Taper Bushes with both imperial and metric bore sizes.

Using Low Back Pressure (LBP) conveyors, parts ride directly on a densely populated array of plastic rollers. The parts flow freely with very low friction and exert minimal force on adjacent parts.

Socony Oven Conveyer Lubricant is a high performance product designed specifically for the lubrication of oven conveyor chains at temperatures up to 200 degrees celsius. It is formulated from a low viscosity oil and colloidal graphite. The oil acts as a carrier for the graphite and can penetrate between the moving parts. The oil is sufficiently volatile at the working temperature to evaporate without leaving residues that might cause sticking.
Socony Oven Conveyor Lubricant is best applied at a low temperature point to allow the fluid to penetrate between the links and pins. As the conveyor moves into a hot zone the carrier evaporates, leaving a lubricating film of graphite. The lubricant may be applied manually by brush or some form of centralised mechanical system.
