Reliable, high-brightness visual indication of process conditions for safe and hazardous areas from RTK Instruments Ltd
The DA180 range of Giant LED Clusters, having a 66mm diameter lens, not only provides clear indication from a distance but is also visible from the side. Lenses are available in six super-bright colours and feature an integral current regulator to limit the current to 20mA. This ensures that all colours are matched to obtain consistent brightness across the range including white and blue. Up to two LED Clusters can be driven from a single IIC power source. The lamps are designed to provide a minimum of 100,000 hours of service life.
The DA180 Giant LED Clusters are ATEX Certified to Ex II 2G, EEx ia IIC T4 and are suitable for zones 1 and 2.
The LED Clusters can be supplied as loose parts or pre-mounted in a stainless steel or polycarbonate IP65 box ready for immediate installation on site.
The DA180 range of Giant LED Clusters can be linked into either the LN1000 Intrinsically Safe Alarm Annunciator or one of a number of safe area annunciators.

New DA135 Intrinsically Safe LED Beacon from RTK Instruments
RTK Instruments has developed a new range of LED Beacons, which provide powerful visual alarm signals in both hazardous and safe areas. The DA135 is ATEX certified for use in Zone 0, 1 or 2 hazardous areas and is available in five super-bright colours. The ruggedised and encapsulated enclosure makes this an ideal choice for the harsh environments found offshore and in the chemical and petrochemical industry.
The standard unit has a unique method of allowing the user to change the flash rate between single, double or triple flash by triggering control inputs. Customers can then use the same unit to indicate different site problems. A dual colour version is also available where each colour can be triggered separately from the control inputs
The DA135 can be operated alone or in conjunction with an intrinsically safe Sounder and Pushbutton to create a fully featured single point Alarm Annunciator.

The DA170 range of LED Clusters provides visual on/off indication of process conditions in safe and hazardous areas. Available in six super-bright colours - red, green, yellow, orange, blue and white - they are standard 22.5mm diameter and seal to IP65 to the panel door.
All six colours are fully current limited and take only 20mA. All are matched for equal brightness including the white and blue versions.
In hazardous areas it is possible to combine LEDs from a single Intrinsically Safe interface, two for IIC interfaces and four with a IIB interface.
The standard LED Cluster can also be supplied fully mounted in stainless steel boxes ready for immediate mounting on-side.

The LN870 Light Tower provides visual on/off indication of process conditions in safe and hazardous areas. Configurable up to five tiers high in a choice of five super-bright colours (red, amber, green, blue and white), they can be built exactly the way you want.
Each tier has a unique prism cut lens and internal reflective cone to improve visibility and requires one LED lamp for illumination which is current-limited to take a maximum of only 2OmA. Available for hazardous area use in both zones 1 and 2, up to two tiers can be driven from a single IIC interface.
There is a choice of pole or direct mounting, both incorporating a special vibration absorber. With the LED's low power consumption, low heat dissipation and long life expectancy, the LN870 is an ideal indicator for safe and hazardous areas alike.
