The SEK500 and SEK600 series weld heads provide precision and repeatability for thousands of dollars less than similar weld heads. The SEK weld head activates the weld at a user defined pressure setting. This ensures that welds will be repeatable for small and large production runs.
The SEK500 series is designed to meet the needs of the battery manufacturing sector, while the SEK600 series weld heads are designed for general fine spot opposed resistance welding. The SEK500A and SEK600A are air actuated while the SEK500B and SEK600B use a foot pedal to lower the weld head. Air actuation has advantages in ease of use and convenience for high volume applications. The manual foot pedal weld heads have a lower initial cost and are well suited for short periods of use. |

Miyachi Unitek's line of integrated welding systems encompasses a full series of weld heads for medium to large scale applications. The heads feature fast follow-up for improved weld-to-weld consistency, reduced material expulsion, and better weld appearance. Each is built on a heavy duty frame with the finest air and mechanical components to meet the demands of rigorous production environments.
These heads are the right solution for applications such as:
Automotive Metal Subassemblies
Automotive Electrical Components
Appliance Subassemblies
Projection Welds
Wire Harness Welding
And more... |

| Brouwer Metaal is specialised in the production of spot welding electrodes. We machine any industrial electrode according the drawings or samples of our customers. Electrodes can be machined out of CuCrZr, CuCo2Be, CuCoNiBe, CuNiCrSi or CuBe2 copper alloys. We produce them out of drawn, square, rectangular or hexagon bars as well as from pressed and forged copper plates. |
|
| Brouwer Metaal is specialised in the production of cold formed industrial electrode caps. Besides the standards caps which can be found on our web site we also produce special caps according drawings. Cold formed caps outlast machined caps because of their undamaged copper structure. |

Type TN:
- Three models are available, starting by 30 daN up to 150 daN.
- Welding force supplied by a servomotor type brushless. A Piezo sensor for force checking during the welding cycle can be set up. |

Hand Held Electronic Force Gauge
An ergonomically designed hand held force gauge.
ADVANTAGES
User comfort "'Ergonomically" designed - for ease of use
One piece unit
Very high accuracy
Swivel head allows access to difficult to reach positions
As with all welding procedures, it is important to eliminate as many variables as possible in order to achieve optimum welding consistently over long periods.
Electrode force is one of the critical parameters in obtaining repeatable, reliable resistance spot welds.
Force can vary because of variable factory air pressure, water in the air lines causing air cylinders to deteriorate and loss of air pressure due to worn seals.
This self contained instrument uses a cell with a force detector to provide accurate digital read out for auditing weld electrode forces.
Accuracy of this instrument is better than 0.2% and can be switched to read 0-2000 kg, 0-20.00 kN or 0-4400lbs.
In cases of difficult access the head of the swivel head gauge can be swiveled at least ±72º up or down and rotates at least ±90º. Once the desired position is reached it can be fixed by a simple hand tightened knob. A 90 mm long handle is provided for optional use with 2 mountain positions either in-line or at 90º.
A support wrist strap is attached to the gauge so that in the event that it is forced out of the operators hand by misaligned electrodes, it need not fall to the floor and be damaged. |
|
Faults in welding tongs or incorrect process parameters in welding can result in production centre waste or defective parts. Checking the industrial electrode force periodically permits spark malfunctions to be detected at an early stage so that repairs can be carried out in good time.
The new Type 9833A test sensor allows precise and reliable measurements to be carried out with minimal electrode gaps. The built-in charge amplifier simplifies the task of mounting and helps to ensure the reliability required by the automobile industry.

| The MM-601A is an industrial electrode force measuring device for resistance welding stations. By changing the load sell sensor, it is capable of measuring from 0.20 kg to 950 kg (0.44 to 2111 lbs) of weld pressure. |
|
The quality of a spot weld depends on the force applied by the electrodes together with the value of the welding current. For control programs, measuring the force applied by the electrodes is extremely important for maintaining constant production conditions. The Welding Tester instrument is designed for measuring the closing force on welding heads, which can be used either for setting up or for periodical maintenance. The tips are exchangeable for measuring the force applied by different forms of electrodes; the lowest closing dimension is 3 mm.
Different models are available for measuring 0–5000N up to 0-20000N. The new tool has all the ruggedness, quality and accuracy of the other tools in the CENTOR family, specially designed for taking “nomad” measurements in production shops.
