Design
MT0 is a unidirectional motor with a cylindrical sheet-iron stator in which the field poles form the stator ring. In combination with the auxiliary ploles (provided with copper shading rings) a roating field is generated when the coil is energized.
The rotor turns in sintered bushings requiring no maintainence. The motor shaft is polished to a mirror finish. Motor can be provided with screw clilp for fixing.

Direct drive Dividing Apparatus TA Sk 50:
Rotational axis for dividing in machine tools or other processing machines. Due to the direct drive implemented in this machine far higher r.p.m. rates can be achieved than as with comparable worm driven devices. Work pieces can thus for instance be treated by cylindrical surface grinding. The drive is absolutely free from any play or float.

Synchronous motors are often used in applications where precise speed is critical to the application. Shaded pole (asynchronous) motors offer higher levels of output power than synchronous motors however speed will vary under load.
The most important step lies in the accurate definition of the work that you require the motor and gearbox to perform. The selection of a suitable motor and gearbox can only be made if the torque and speed can be defined. Of these two parameters, torque is probably the most difficult to identify - please contact us if you need help.

Hurst permanent magnet synchronous motors are reversible permanent-split capacitor motors identical in construction to the Hurst stepping motors. The 60 Hz can-stack motors operate at synchronous speeds of 300 and 600 RPM. High quality gearing is available for the can-stack motors. The ceramic rotor magnet material provides a relatively high flux resulting in a good torque to size ratio at moderate cost. In addition the permanent magnet construction provides inherent dynamic braking and low rotor speed for quiet operation and rapid acceleration. The disadvantages of permanent magnet motors are a limited ability to accelerate inertial loads and a high sensivity to the parameters of voltage and phasing capacitor. The first of these problems may be minimized by gearing or in some cases flexible couplings. The sensitivity to voltage and phasing capacitor directly affects the directional reliability of both starting and running under load. In Hurst motor designs directional reliability is a primary consideration and is assured when motors are operated with the recommended capacitor within a voltage range of 10% of nominal.

HT-direct motors are permanent-magnet synchronous motors that can provide high torques at low speeds directly at the driven machine. High efficiencies and good power factors can also be achieved at low speeds as a result of the permanent magnet rotors.
The HT-direct motors are offered as a harmonized system together with SINAMICS drive converters.
The HT-direct motor / SINAMICS drive converter represents a drive solution with a long service lifetime but with low lifecycle costs and high efficiency for applications with low operating speeds.

ABM SINOCHRON®Motors are permanently excited synchronous motors, e.g. rotor speed matches the rotational frequency of the revolving stator field. In comparison to common induction motors they feature outstanding efficiency, high power density and compact dimensions and to conventional synchronous motors no encoder feedback for inverter or servo control operation is required.
SINOCHRON®Motor design features almost perfect sinusoidal distribution of the magnetic flux. With this unique property SINOCHRON®Motors are perfectly suited for sensorless operation and offer an economical alternative to expensive servo drives. Concurrently they boast better dynamic behaviour and efficiency than induction motors.
Simple rotor design, with internally located high performance magnets, allow for more economical manufacturing of SINOCHRON®Motors than servo motors without major impact on power density and control behaviour.
Sinusoidal magnetic flux minimizes troublesome cogging and improves rotational behaviour and noise emissions over conventional permanent magnet motors.
