Pneumatic equipment is operated with purified and dried compressed air, which represents an extreme charge for the user of breathing masks during permanent use. Dry and cold compressed air causes dry mucous membranes, which may lead to becoming prone to catching a cold.
In accordance with the DIN directives and physiological and medical aspects, breathing air at the workplace ("IAO") must have the following characteristics:
- Free from dust (DIN 3188)
- Free from harmful gases and vapours
- Free from smell
- Temperature between 20 - 24° C
- Relative humididy between 30 - 70 %
- Air flow speed max. 0.15 m/sec.
In order to achieve an optimum painting result, the compressed air used for painting is filtered, dried and, stripped of oil remainders as far as possible. The compressed air thus purified does not comply with the aforementioned requirements and must therefore be further purified for use with supplied air breathing masks.
The breathing air humidifyer AB1 operated with compressed air (spray air) supplies breathing air complying with all requirements.
Basically, it consists of two functional groups for securing the working conditions of users of supplied air breathing masks:
1. Fine filter and activated charcoal cartridge as well as adjustable pressure regulator
- Purification of the compressed air to obtain breathing air
- Exact adjustment of the breathing air network pressure
2. Air warmer and air humidification unit
- Gradual warming of the breathing air for a pleasant climate
- Increase of the breathing air humidity to approx. 40% relative humidity

JS Humidifiers Special Projects Division works with clients to design and produce bespoke humidification solutions.
For precise control of humidity and temperature, extreme outputs, specialist construction for controlled environments or unusual control, whatever the requirement JS will design and manufacture a solution.

Evaporative humidifiers provide very economic humidification as, unlike steam humidifiers, the water does not need to be heated. JS' evaporative humidifier range includes models that fit inside ducts/AHUs as well as units for suspended ceilings.
Running costs can be 150 times less than steam systems requiring only a single phase power supply. Many operating features make these humidifiers extremely hygenic and safe to use.

MinAir
Compact mini-humidifier at the highest level: ideal to complete central dwelling ventilation eg. in low energy houses and in any other application, where a small quantity of steam only is required, eg. in laboratories, etc.
Advantages:
Steam capacity from 0.4 to 2 kg/h
User friendly
LED-display to show set-point and actual relative humidity
Integrated humidity controller

Both the RC 3000 ( for direct humidification in the room ) and the DC 3000 ( for duct humidification ) are attractive steam humidifiers for small rooms that need exactly the right climatic conditions
The humidifiers are microprocessor-controlled, fully automatic and have a stainless steel cabinet. There are nominal outputs of 2 and 3 kg/h steam available. The control mode can be either on/off or continuous.
Advantages of the RC 3000 series at a glance:
Built-in silent axial fan
Remote indication relay (collective message)
Housing of stainless steel
Options:
Proportional control adapter

AT 3000
The AT 3000 series is Nordmann's top line. Four different sizes of casing are available, making a total of 10 basic types covering 4 - 130 kg/h of steam production to meet a variety of steam production.
Advantages of the AT 3000 series at a glance:
Program level
Service level
patented Self-cleaning with SC system
Anti-foam system
Stainless steel casing
RS 485 interface
integrated humidity controller
Remote indication relay for collective messages

The JetSpray humidifier combines compressed air and water to produce fine sprays of moisture that immediately evaporate to raise the humidity to the desired level.
It can be fitted inside an AHU or duct, or directly in the space to be humidified.
The system requires very little energy to operate, has the lowest compressed air consumption of any similar system in the world and due to its self-cleaning nozzles requires very little maintenance.

|
This type of humidifier is fed by steam from a main supply rather than being generated locally by a self-generative unit.
An effective system which ensures :
- High steam output per metre of lance.
- Very low noise levels.
- Simplified duct and piping requirements.
- Close spacing where multiple lances are needed.
- Low steam ejection velocity for efficient air / steam mixing.

WHY HUMIDIFICATION
Even humidity balance, preservation of high quality products, better room conditions for health, ... HUMIDIFICATION THEORY
How does humidification work?
HIGH PRESSURE HUMIDIFICATION
Humidification – by high pressure vaporization
VAPORIZATION UNITS
for offices, housing spaces, etc.

The design-oriented TurboFog 4 system is designed to provide air humidification in low-noise production and storage facilities as well as in administrative centres and offices. The innovative high-pressure nozzles atomises the water into an ultrafine aerosol mist. A mini-fan distributes the aerosols (floating droplets of vapour) rapidly in the room air. With an operating noise level of 53 db(A), the fan is barely audible. The unit operates absolutely drip-free, and with no disturbing ''cold spot''. This means it can also be used in rooms with very low ceilings.
Principle of function:
High-pressure nozzle system using a DRAABE-developed high-pressure pulsation technique by which the water is atomised by way of a pulsating high pressure (85 bar) and special titanium nozzles to form a micro-fine aerosol (single-component technique).
Application:
Offices, exhibitions, lobbies, low-ceilinged production/storage facilities
