Wall traveling jib cranes are a cost-effective solution for lifting and moving heavy material. Custom engineered wall traveling jib cranes are a perfect complement to an overhead crane system to perform tasks efficiently without tying up an overhead crane. A wall traveling jib crane can also be used to cover a series of workstation cranes with little or no downtime waiting for an overhead crane.
Features
Wall traveling jib crane end trucks use channel beam/construction frames to resist twisting and are jig-fixtured and machined to maintain consistent manufacturing tolerances. Bolt type connection to back frame eases erection and assembly. The top running end truck on a wall traveling jib crane utilizes forged steel double flange crane wheels for long life. The wall traveling jib crane drive utilizes squirrel cage motor with double reduction spur gear reducer. Standard single speed controls include mainline contactor, control transformer, inverter acceleration control and fuses in NEMA 3R, 4, 12 control enclosures. The wall traveling jib crane boom is fabricated from standard "S" beam with vertical angle truss to reduce deflection. Jib crane boom and truss bolt to back frame for ease of erection and assembly.
STREET JIB CRANES - Wall mounted Slewing Jib Cranes :
Street slewing jib cranes are available in a wide range of standard formats in capacities from 125kg to 6300kg. Larger specially designed options are available on request. Street Crane offer two formats of jib crane, the pillar or post-mounted jib and the wall or column mounted. Each of these may be equipped with chain hoists or wire rope hoists with the additional options of electric travel and electric slewing gear. The jib arm may be under or over braced to maximise height of lift or travel. Post-mounted jibs can be constructed to provide a slewing angle 360°. Fixed jibs and monorail solutions may be appropriate for other applications.
They are the right choice wherever loads have to be moved quickly and safely at the workplace. They relieve workers of the physical burden and also accelerate working processes.
Thanks to a wide range of sizes and designs, they meet the most diverse requirements in terms of load capacity, slewing range and outreach. They can be easily attached to walls or building columns, erected as free standing units or fitted to machinery and installations.
