CHATILLON® presents MT500 Series manual force tester. The mechanical test stand is a user-friendly solution for measuring force up to 500 lbf (2.5kN) capacities. For controlling crosshead speed and travel, it is possible to equip the stand with a quick-action lever or a precision handwheel. The MT500 test stand allows bench mounting, wall mounting or horizontal positioning. It provides vertical clearances between 750mm (29.5 inch) and 1500mm (60 inch). It has a 6-inch (150mm) standard stroke, with longer strokes available on special order. The MT500 Series offers a unique design that requires minimal working space. It is very easy-to-operate and maintain. It has a single column design with throat of 150mm (6 in). This makes it perfect for bigger specimens. The detachable platen accepts metric and imperial threaded fixtures. The tester has automatic gauge alignment thanks to the special gauge adapter. Optional digital travel indicator is available, which can display travel up to 0.01mm (0.0005 inch).
