Description

The PA119 is a 4A, 80V power operational amplifier designed to drive a variety of loads from DC through the video frequency range. With a very high 900V/µs slew rate, the PA119 targets applications such as deflection circuits, power transducers and power LED or laser diode excitation. Freedom from second breakdown is assured by a complementary Power MOS output stage. The PA119 achieves excellent input accuracy with a dual monolithic FET input transistor which is cascoded by two high voltage transistors to provide outstanding common mode characteristics. All internal current and voltage levels are referenced to a zener diode biased on by a current source. As a result, the PA119 exhibits superior DC and AC stability over a wide supply and temperature range. The PA119CEA is the A grade version, providing enhanced performance in the areas of offset voltage, offset current, bias current and slew rate. The PA119 series is a hybrid product design housed in an electrically isolated, hermetically sealed, 8-pin TO-3 metal package.
