A Corona discharge is produced between the electrode connected to high tension and the counter-electrode connected to electrical earth. The surface energy of the substrates is increased, the chain of molecules are cracked and oxygen is implanted wich offers possibilities for a linkage to the molecules of inks, paints, glues etc.
