Alu-Topline – this is the new ergonomic universal concept for desktop applica-tions. Thanks to its innovative enclosure technology and ergonomic lines, BOPLA Gehäuse Systeme GmbH’s new desktop enclosure provides more opportunities for use in the fields of control and safety technology as well as of data recording and processing.

Alu-Topline can be used both as a table-top and wall-mounted operating panel. Alu-Topline has a generously-sized membrane area to permit the fitting of front membranes or membrane keypads. This new BOPLA enclosure has an ingress protection category of IP 40 as standard, which can be increased to IP 54 by the use of an optional seal. The enclosure is available in two profile heights, and because of the aluminium profile construction, it is variable in length. The profile is in silver anodised. Two ABS design lids, in quartz grey, similar to RAL 7039, or graphite grey, similar to RAL 7024, are available as a profile end.

The handle elements which are integrated in the end covers ensure good handling. Several PCB slots and screw channels make it easy to fit PCBs and mounting plates. The profile can be supplied in a split type for optimal assembly of the electronics. The upper profile can also be turned by 180° and then fitted to the lower profile, which means that the same configuration can be used for both table-top and wall applications.
