For 50 years, we, Bopla Gehäuse Systeme GmbH, based in the East Westphalian town of Bünde, have been developing and manufacturing plastic and aluminium electronics enclosures, in addition to HMIs such as touch screens and membrane keypads. Among others, the enclosures are used in measurement, control and instrumentation applications, in machine and plant engineering, and in medical and railway technology.

Thanks to our especially broad and comprehensive range of products, we are one of the leading providers of enclosure technology, and we supply customers worldwide. We put special emphasis on additional services such as the mechanical processing, printing and equipping of the enclosures, up to complete assembly of the application including test and function tests.

In addition to our standard products, individual enclosure solutions built to customers’ own specifications are a major focus of our company’s activities. Currently we have more than 200 employees, and as Bopla Gehäuse Systeme GmbH is a subsidiary of the Swiss Phoenix Mecano AG, our products and services are represented worldwide.

Using the most up-to-date production machinery and efficient teamwork, we process the enclosures in accordance with our customers’ requirements. When the work is carried out on BOPLA’s premises, the customer’s risk of receiving defective goods is greatly reduced. A workforce of 200 highly-motivated employees in Bünde takes care of individual processing as well as the marketing and sale of BOPLA enclosures.

The production and assembly of membrane keypads is another part of our company. Designing keypads to be both as functional and attractive as possible is what BOPLA does every day. Here, too, customer-specific solutions are a particular speciality of ours. In addition to our enclosures and membrane keypads, we also offer individual, customer-specific system solutions in combination with our electronics services.
