Description

Single-screw measuring extruders for application oriented investigations or processing tasks in laboratories and simulation What do these instruments do? Brabender single screw measuring extruders are laboratory scale machinery which can easily simulate production processes in real time. Those can be docked to the Brabender torque rheometers, serving as drive units which can continuously record and visualize different measuring values such as torque, melt and zone temperatures or melt pressure. Why is this important? The design of these instruments allows for small amounts of raw material samples. The mentioned research and sample preparation tasks do not require anymore to interrupt your production processes, which equates to direct savings to your bottom line. The parameters and measured values can support you to find the optimum processing conditions on your production scale. What are the benefits? - Low material input: small sample sizes, no material waste in production - Time-saving procedure: production extruders do not have to be stopped for conducting material tests - Flexibility: Single and multistage screws with various compression ratios, zone lengths and mixing elements are available for testing a large range of materials as well as a wide range of processing and measuring dies
