Coextrusion line for double-walled corrugated pipes

Since 1988, Corelco is developing double wall corrugator lines for the manufacturers of civil work to protect buried network, electrical, water, gas and telecommunication.
The range is from Ø40 to Ø250 mm. These productions are either in bars or in coils.

PROCESS

With a twin flow die head, the process requires two single screw extruders, the first for the inside wall and the second for the outside wall.
The cooling conformator assures the inside wall forming, using a turbulent cooling system for a better thermic exchange and a specific treatment for a better slide.

LES MOULES

For the EC50 series, they are monobloc in treated steel, for the EC130 and EC260 series, they are in treated aluminium.
For the EC260 series, a system of insert holders and inserts are used to reduce the cost and the storage.
