Generator differential protection relay
MDR-2 DEIF

The MDR-2 is a differential current relay intended for protection of a generator against internal short circuits (leaking currents). It is based on a 16-bit digital signal processor providing maximum performance and reliability.

All measured and calculated values are shown in clear text and numbers on the large LCD display (allowing significant savings on purchase and wiring of external meters).

Available options include a block (generator + step-up transformer) protection option and a short-circuit and overcurrent protection option.

DEIF's utility software for setup, monitoring and control is free of charge.
