The stator earth fault uni-line relay protects the operators of the gen-set against electric shock as result of earth faults in the stator of the generator. The relay also protects against loss of excitation as result of earth fault in the stator.
The protective stator earth fault relay uni-line RMC-142D forms part of a complete DEIF series of relays for protection and control of generators. The RMC-142D is primarily designed for land-based installations.
