ETAP Transmission & Distribution Line Ampacity Calculation module calculates the current-temperature characteristics for the overhead lines. The modeling and analysis method is based on IEEE Standard 738-1993, IEEE Standard for Calculating the Current-Temperature Relationship of Bare Overhead Conductors.
