Description

Tensioners CTT/CTG series are used to tension the plastic and fabric strap and perform the ligation of pallets and packages through the use of metal buckles or welding. Binding with metal buckle (strapping fabric) The operator wrap the product with the strap, put the two ends through the buckle and places into the strapping tool. The first end is locked with the brake while the second is placed under the cutter and inside the tension roller. Increasing the tension of the strap, the buckle keeps the tension. After reaching the desired tension the strap is cut automatically by the tensioning device. Binding by welding (plastic fabric) The strapping by means of welding is used with polyester strap or polypropylene and is done in the same way of the previous strapping but without the use of the buckle. At the end of the tension, a welder is used to locks the strap in tension. The welded strap is then cut from the strap tightener. In some cases you can also use a metal seal, closing it by means of special pincers.
