- Many years of operation in most of the French cement plants have shown the reliability of the Fives FCB "E" mill.
Long life of grinding balls
- The grinding balls have a regular wear due to their slight rotation upon themselves by inertia.
Low maintenance
- The extension life of the grinding balls limits the preventive maintenance to a visual checking of the wear every 6 months.
- No sophisticated mechanical equipment inside the mill.
- No lubrication for the mill itself.
Low noise level:
- Noise measurements have shown that the noise level is given by the motor itself.
Constant quality
- Action angle of the balls increases from 90° to 120° in accordance with the wear. - This allows to maintain an even grinding surface for a grinding pressure practically constant. It results that the grinding quality remains very close during the ball life as those obtained with new balls.
