The BRIN400D features the Foundrax type D optical closed loop Brinell test head to give a production line Brinell hardness tester with the capacity to work in scales from HBW 2.5/62.5 to HBW 10/3000 The test force is monitored and adjusted 125 times per second via a specially built load cell specifically designed for use in Brinell hardness testing and the test forces are applied using a high quality Servo motor and Servo Drive giving full torque at no speed. This approach means that the test force is constantly adjusted to ensure that it is correctly applied within tight tolerances at all times giving levels of accuracy unparalleled in a production environment. The BRIN400 series of closed loop Brinell hardness testers represent the latest in Brinell hardness testing technology. They are robust, reliable, proven and designed to meet a customer’s most demanding requirements in harsh industrial environments such as those found in foundries, forges and steelworks.
