This single-phase rectifier has been designed to ensure correct operation and long life to short arc Xenon lamps of 1000W. It is characterized by galvanic insulation, a soft inrush current, a low residual ripple value and a stable output current.
The tap transformer allows to regulate the output current by changing the output current selector position, and a special circuit avoids the lamp turning off during the tap switching. A boost circuit provides the necessary no-load voltage in order to guarantee the right lamp condition for the ignition, and the output filter guarantees a low output current ripple value. Its robustness makes it particularly suitable for a wide variety of applications.
