Steatite body with high thermal and mechanical resistance. The fuse element is made of silver plated copper. Quartz sand is the arc extinguishing medium. This series of fuses is ideal for protecting semiconductors. An optional microswitch to be mounted directly on the fuse enables fuse blowing to be indicated remotely.
