These copper strips are ≥99.9% pure with a 0.05-0.3mm thickness. The come with either a silver-coated or tin-coated surface treatment. They can be welded using two processes, press-/diffusion welding, which is for a welding area with A≥90mm or B≥60mm normal welding. A top copper plate with a thickness of 1mm can be used for the welding area in order to assure the flatness of the contact area is maintained. Braze welding for welding areas A≥140mm and B≥130mm is the second option. The solder used for the welding is silver content and suited for this use. Most Kinto products are custom made to the requirements of the client and a website table details the allowed carrying capacity for each product.
