An electromagnetic suction cup makes it possible to maintain a device (interdependent of a polar plate) in a given position and to release it by simple electrical signal. In the case of a suction cup with emission of current, the maintenance is ensured not under tension by a permanent magnet and the unlocking of the polar plate is caused by the powering of the reel which involves the demagnetization of the magnet.
