Description

The atmospheric pressure sensor is a device used for measuring the pressure exerted by the atmosphere of the earth. The atmospheric pressure at sea level is 1.012 bar. It can vary from +/- 25 mbar with rain or shine, and decreases with increasing altitude. The sensor is integrated into the electrics panels of METEO OMNIUM stations. This helps protect and ensure minimum clogging of the sensitive element. Several types of atmospheric pressure sensors can be installed depending on the desired accuracy and the usage environment: METEO OMNIUM can tailor the type of sensor to be installed depending on the situation.
