Description

The Perseus STA 449 F1/F3 is a tool used for characterizing the thermal behavior of organic and inorganic solids or liquids. The instrument's design incorporates two instruments: the Netzsch STA 449 F1/F3 Jupiter® and the Aplha FT-IR spectrometer.

The need for liquid nitrogen is eliminated, since the instrument's deuterated triglycine sulphate (DTGS) detector does not require any liquid nitrogen cooling. This system is useful for test runs with an autosampler (ASC) or for measurements of longer duration. The built-in heated gas cell which is directly connected to the gas outlet of the furnace via a heated tube does not require a separate transfer line and a separate heating controller. With a space-saving design, the instrument is suitable for laboratories where space is scarce.
