Automation system PSS4000
The automation system PSS 4000 consists of various hardware and software components, plus the real-time Ethernet SafetyNET p and corresponding network components. They are closely compatible, providing the solution for your automation project.
Various hardware device classes are available for the automation system PSS 4000. Both the control systems and the I/O systems are modular in design, versatile and expandable. The wide range of I/O modules enables a high level of flexibility.
Network components can be used to implement various automation architectures, increasing the availability and extension of your network
Pilz Automation Suite PAS4000
In PAS4000, the tools for configuration, programming, commissioning and operation are closely compatible. The data interfaces are of standard design, making it easier to exchange information throughout all the phases of automation. Programmation on the basis of the IEC 61131-3 instruction set.
Configuration instead of programming
Component blocks are used to reproduce your application as building blocks within the software tool. The automation function is divided into independent elements. For each of these elements, component blocks provide a low-maintenance, independent view of the control, safety, diagnostic or visualisation function. You can create your own component blocks or use existing ones. These will build into a library of blocks, which you can just reuse again and again – saving costs and labour within the engineering process.
