The electric heavy duty BB machine can be used either in a workshop or on-site. In addition to beveling, the beveller will face and counter-bore heavy wall pipes simultaneously or individually. It’s designed to provide high quality and repeatable weld preps on a variety of metal pipes such as stainless, super duplex, duplex, with exterior diameters from 3-in to 24-in. This bench beveller machine can be fixed or installed and clamped on the outside of a pipe’s diameter. It’s easily operable and used with an optional tracking device, with which it can machine oval pipes. When this occurs, a root face of a consistent width is left, which enables the use of orbital welding heads. The feed and clamping are both semi-automatic.
