The TBHS Escaping Arc Clamp is installed on the press bolster or ram. It grips the die on its lateral edge. As a standard, the clamping face is horizontal. The clamping wedge is arcshaped and moves on a curved path. The
clamping force acts vertically with no radial load. There is no possibility of jamming when the wedge is retracted, making the TBHS perfect for high temperature applications, like forging. The series extends to models with a clamping force of 630 kN.
