The Siemens fully-managed M2200 MIL STD nine-port switch is an MIL-STD modular gigabit Ethernet switch with a rugged structure designed to function in the harshest conditions. When combined with the RUGGEDCOM Operating System (ROS®) it offers superior reliability and security, along with improved networking features that make this an excellent choice for producing secure mission critical real time control functionality and combining Ethernet switches onto a gigabit backbone. The flexibility of the M2200 module provides combinations of 1000BaseX fiber LC connectors and 10/100/1000BaseTX copper port micro-D connectors. The M2200 is enclosed in a rugged galvanized steel enclosure and offers the shock/vibration resistance of the MIL-901D. The M2200 is extremely flexible and appropriate for all harsh environments.
