Together with the SINAMICS S120 drive system, the motors are optimized for operation on high-performance machine tools and production machines. SIMOTICS L-1FN3 linear motors were specially developed for use in machine tools and are the proven standard for linear motion for years. Its modular principle offers you a comprehensive range of practically wear-free and therefore low-maintenance motor variants. The water-cooled SIMOTICS L-1FN3 motors are available in two versions - for peak load operation and for continuous load operation. They are offered in seven different widths with up to five different overall lengths as well as several types of action. Naturally cooled SIMOTICS L-1FN3 motors are available in three different width with up to 3 different length and several types of action. The motors are designed for operation with SINAMICS S120 converters.
