The Micro alignment telescope range consists of series of high precision optics whose line of site are set parallel and co-axial to the cylindrical datum that forms the mechanical outer body of the telescope. This mechanical datum in conjunction with precision targets can be used to set accurate lines of site over long distances, features include precision micrometers for measurement of X,Y displacement as well as a focus range from 25mm to infinity.

The micro alignment telescope allows the user to set true lines of sight for applications such as the alignment and measurement of bearings and bores. By use of two precision micrometers X,Y displacement can be measured with accuracies of 0.05mm over 30 metres.
