Description
The IT406 is suitable for use in both Charpy, and Izod impact testing. The unit provides smooth insertion of the interchangeable strikers, which are located in the pendulum head. Also, the device is integrated with two studs, that is found on the pendulum's rear part, for the attachment of the optional tooling.
The pendulum impact tester delivers an impact velocity of 5.47 m/s or 17.0 ft./s. It utilizes a maximum energy of 406 J or 300 ft*lbf. Additionally, the device, when properly installed, ensures a total windage loss of not more than 0.5%.
