The Divert Parallel Pusher (DPP) is a widely used horizontal divert pusher that sorts single bags to one destination only. The parallel pusher blade is operated by a rod and crank mechanism. When the pusher is activated, a pusher plate operates at 90° to the transport direction and pushes the bag into a destination or onto a connection conveyor. Automatic sorting at more than 1,800 bags per hour is possible, cycling between consecutive bags.
