The WhizThread insert is designed to give the absolute most stable position in the toolholder. The resulting clamping force goes diagonal through the insert and toolholder. The positioning of the insert forces it back into the toolholders pocket for maximized support. This unique system, with its solid clamping, will produce a better product and give a longer tool life than any other tooling setup.
Every insert has 4 fully ground cutting edges, making the insert as sharp as possible. The toolholders are very suitable for Swiss Type Automatic Lathes.
The toolholders are available from 8 mm to 1 inch square shafts.
