Radial flow impellers have low discharges despite the relatively higher power consumption.
They can operate at high speed in order to produce strong shearing action and often they are combined with axial flow impeller to guarantee the circulation in large tanks.
Radial flow impellers are:
* Radial blade turbine (see picture)
* Flat blade disk turbine
* Disperser toothed disk
* Bar turbine
