The MEMS optical switch module is based on Accelink in house MEMS OSW component. It usually integrates the drive and control circuit for easy use by customers. It also supports the integration of TAP PD, WDM and other components to port monitoring and extended functions. It can be classified into 1 x N type (N= 2-64) and M x N type (M= 2-64, N= 2-64). The 1 x N switch module is mainly used for optical path monitoring of ROADM system together with OTDR and OPM. The M×N switch module can be used for multi-channel test equipment or cross connecting of intra data center.
