Securistop® fall arrest device The electric hoists are destinated to lift persons at suspended platforms and it's obligatory to include a fall arrest device. When the platform is running the secondary wire rope pass freely into the gags of the Securistop fall arrest device due to the pressure applied by the wire rope over a lever. If the suspension wire rope gets untighten or the platform gets inclined, the Securistop works automatically over the secondary wire rope and blocks the platform's movement. The Securistop fall arrest device is placed on the end stirrup of the platform or beside the e.lift hoist. The Securistop fall arrest device limits the inclination of the platform to 14º and resets automatically when the suspension wire rope gets tight (when the platform becomes horizontal).
