The ACME Y type Strainer is the most cost effective, Y strainer uses perforated wire mesh or wedge wire to trap unwanted solids from a process stream. Y strainer can be mounted vertically or horizontally in a piping system Strainers are low-cost solutions to large nominal bore straining requirements. These strainers are commonly used in pipelines to prevent damage to Gauges, pumps, control valves, Flowmeters, and other process equipment. Sizes available from 2” to 48” (larger sizes are available), designed in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div. I. Strainers available in CS,CSRL,SS304,SS316,Duplex,Super Duplex, standard design pressures include 150psi, 300psi till 15000 psi (Higher pressure available on request).​ Hinged covers & Swing bolt opening available for quick opening
