Description

Low-frequency dry-point-contact ultrasonic transducer for transmitting or receiving the ultrasonic longitudinal waves for ultrasonic pulse velocity testing and characterization of material properties. A general-purpose low-frequency DPC transducer with a nominal frequency of 25 KHz for the dry-point-contact (DPC) excitation or acquiring ultrasonic shear waves in highly scattering materials (concrete, wood, stones etc.). It can be used in ready-made housing with the Lemo00 plug or non-wired for self-tailored applications, e.g. for customization of transducer arrays by the customer. The following ACS instruments can drive the transducer: • A1560 Sonic-LF • A1220 MONOLITH Transducer type - Dry Point Contact Ultrasonic wave mode - Shear Nominal frequency - 25 KHz Bandwidth - 5 to 35 KHz Capacity - 3600 pF ± 50 pF Maximal pulse voltage (peak-to-peak) - ± 200 V Temperature range - -20 to +50ºC Weight - 100 g
