AT&M-HEYE built Tool and Die Steel Research Center, which supported by National Engineering Research Center for Advanced Iron and Steel Materials Technology. AT&M-HEYE aims to design , develop and produce high performance die steel by IF, LF, VD melting process and ESR, SF(spray forming) , PM(powder metallurgy) special process, to replace imported die steel and provide more solutions of die steel. The cold work die steel HYC3 which has developed successfully with high wear resistance,excellent comprehensive performance and cost-effective has overcome the weakness of traditional D2, M2, LD etc., being well applied in various high performance cold work die area.The new kind of high alloy die steel with fine structure and less or no segregation was developed and produced by SF, PM special producing process in replace of traditional process. Features AT&M-HEYE have advanced process, such as LF treatment, VD treatment, ESR treatment, homogenization treatment, multi-directional forging, controlled forging, controlled rolling and controlled colling which can guarantee our products with high performance such as low gas content, low non-metallic, high purity, no chemical segregation, excellent toughness and ductility in all directions.
