The centrepiece of the drive is the high-voltage battery with a capacity of 100 kWh and optionally 150 kWh. The modular high-voltage battery system is made up of four or six independent battery packs. The individual battery packs are connected in parallel via a central power distribution unit (PDU). The powerful energy storage units allow operating times of up to 10 hours without recharging (depending on the application).
